When you get a course like Learn Forex Live, you naturally gravitate to the trading systems themselves.  That is what is most sexy about learning Forex… the new methods and techniques you learn to identify trading opportunities, get into the market and get out with profit.  And don’t worry, Hector DeVille teaches you plenty of methods for day trading, swing trading and end of day trading for you to choose from).

Then it might surprise you that one of the BEST and MOST IMPORTANT parts of the course doesn’t have anything to do with trading methods. It is the section about Trade & Money Management.  After all, the way you manage your money and the trade can make or break any successful system.

There are two parts of this section that really stand out for me…

The Money Management Indicator

Hector had an indicator created that helps you determine proper lot size and pre-trade risk/reward for every trade.  This makes sure you are getting into the trade with the proper lot size to maximize your profits while only risking a predetermined percentage of your account.  It also helps you determine if your price targets create an attractive risk-reward ratio and can keep you out of trades that are not quite right from a risk management point of view.

Using the indicator is easy…

All you need to do is attach the indicator to the currency pair you are trading, fill in the account balance, how much of your account you want to risk, entry, stop loss and price targets and it gives you all the info you need.  It tells you the lot size you should use, expected risk-reward ratio and other info you can use to make the right decision.

The Online Trade Journal

Hector also provides access to his online Trade Journal.  It is here you can keep track of all your trades for multiple accounts and multiple trading systems.  Then you can get all kinds of statistics to help you improve your trading plan.

This is great for a variety of reasons.  But I like it the best because Hector gives some advice for changes you can make if certain things are happening in your trading.  And everything is available in one place online, so you can access it and keep track of your trades from anywhere.

So, when you get Learn Forex Live, please don’t skip over this section.  I know you want to learn all the great trading systems Hector teaches.  But is proper trade and money management that is going to make sure you stay profitable… so really pay attention to this section.
